Moving Dorico to new computer

Hi, I recently bought a new laptop as my old one is almost dying. How can I move Dorico to the new computer and uninstall it from the old?

I’m using a soft eLicenser, I don’t have a USB dongle.

Do I have to deinstall Dorico 3.5 on the old computer first, before I get a new Soft elicenser Code?
Or how else do I get the above mentioned “number of the new (!) Soft-eLicenser”?

Are you trying to reinstall Dorico 3.5, or a more recent version? You only need to install the latest version of Dorico for which you have a license on your new computer. It looks like you haven’t updated to Dorico 4 or Dorico 5, in which case you should follow the procedure described here:

Thanks. Yes I´m just trying to reactivate Dorico 3.5.
I´ve already been trying to follow the instructions above, but I don´t seem to get a new eLicenser.

“Enter the number of the new (!) Soft-eLicenser which has been created on your new system…”
I just have an (old) eLicense number without any license on it.

On your new computer, if you run eLicenser Control Center, do you see a Soft-eLicenser appear? If so, that’s the eLicenser number you need to enter into the web site.
