Moving parts en bloc?

Hi
I am a new user of Cubasis 2. Have got the hang of recording pretty quickly but I’d like o know how to move all the parts of a project to the right, for instance to insert 8 bars of an introduction.
Also, is there a quick way of moving the time selectors without having to drag them (eg move from bar 4 to bar 48)?
Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,

Welcome to the Cubasis family and thanks for your message!

Selecting and moving multiple events at once in Cubasis is quick and easy!
Here are the steps…

_Optional
If required,

  • use the thumb/index finger swipe gesture above the “Arrange Window”, to zoom in/out horizontally
  • use the thumb/index finger swipe gesture above the “track list”, to zoom in/out vertically
  • Choose a grid value (e.g. “BARS”), to make it easier moving events to the desired location_

Steps

  1. Tap the “Select” button in the sub menu on the left
  2. Tap the events to be selected in the “Arrange Window” (one tap = select, second tap = deselect)
    3) Optional: If required, zoom in/out as mentioned above
  3. Move the selected events to the desired location

Please note that there are many Cubasis tutorials available on the web, and from us.

Have great fun using Cubasis!

Best,
Lars

Yes, there is…

  • Simple tap and hold on the left locator (the “L” letter)
  • While holding, move the L/R locator to the desired location

And here is another goodie…

  • Performing a long tap on an event sets the left and right locator accordingly automatically (similar to “Locators to Selection”)

Hope that helps!

Best,
Lars
