how can I copy a project to another drive/directory and have it work like it was originally created in this new location?

BUT Prepare for archives samples in the Audio pool first to make sure everything is in the one project folder

This is what the Back up Project function takes care of. This function creates a new folder and put all project’s related files to this new folder.
Only if you make sure all boxes for achiving are ticked , your only explaining half the process , many times in the past ive backup projects and files haven’t been added due to not being archiving

As far as I know, the necessary boxes are enabled by default. If user disable some intentionally, he probably knows why he is doing so and understands the consequences.
Maybe , maybe not but just adding a few extra words to save the aggro of not realising this should be the process isn’t exactly a hardship is it ? You’ve come along way from your first day on the forum adding +1’s to every thread just like Curteye to get your post count to the max .
Prevention is always better than cure , unless your a pharmaceutical company
