I have Wavelab Elements 11.
I cant see or edit mp3 files which is odd as i can see that format will encode to mp3.
Any ideas ?
Do you mean you can’t open and see a mp3 file? WaveLab supports this, of course.
Thats right, I cant see or open mp3 files.
Wav files are fine
Then I guess they have an mp3 extension but are not true mp3 files. Upload an example, for me to check.

Cubase can see MP3 fine
It’s OK i’ve found the box that says what type of file .
