Hello. I’m having an issue with multi-bar rests.
This Alto 1 part is the only part that gives me a single bar rest followed by the multi, all the other parts include the first measure in the multi rest.
I thought it might be because the rehearsal letter is not attached to beat one, but it is, and I assume that would make all the parts split the rest.
Any thoughts would be very helpful.

Try switching off View > Signposts > Hide Signposts if it’s activated, in case there is a tell-tale signpost visible that could indicate something hidden there.
If you can’t figure it out, you might find that the act of cutting down the project to a minimal case to attach here for further investigation is instructive, and that once you remove certain things, you’ll figure out where the issue is coming from.

Allan, this is guesswork: it could be a dynamic hanging into that bar. Have a look at the previous bar.

I turned them all on and there was a text box there even though there was no text. This is a 7 movement work and I found many of them throughout the document. So I’m guessing if you create a text box, but change your mind and delete the text, the insert is still there?

Unless you delete the actual text item, rather than just the text inside it, yes the text item remains.
