Multi bar rests for only more than x bars?

Is there an option like in Finale to apply multi bar rests only for more than (e.g.) 4 empty bars? I find multibars for only 2 measures look somehow strange.

No, Dorico doesn’t have that option.

I don’t think that Finale had an option not to use multibar rests below a threshold. What they had was an option to use old-style rests rather than H-bar rests below a threshold.

Dorico has the same options, in Engraving Options > Rests > Multi-bar rests.
