Does anyone know if it is possible to route a several midi tracks to individual audio tracks for recording.
I am using Cubase Pro 8.5.

No you can not route MIDI tracks to audio tracks, neither can an audio track record MIDI data (apart from Remote control / automation maybe)
Do you mean that you want to record the output of vst instruments perhaps??
In which case this can be done by routing to an unassigned bus in vst connections that you can then select as input on an audio track.
