I’ve been using the Multiband Compressor a lot in my mixes over the past few years. I really enjoy working with it, the workflow is great, and it sounds good on almost everything I’ve had the chance to finalize. I even compared it to Pro‑MB and ended up preferring Cubase’s compressor.
There’s just one thing missing: more bands! It would be great if they added at least 2 bands more, for more flexibility and precision.
I tried using two instances and setting up six bands (by disabling two in one of them), but I’m worried this might mess up with the crossover points. I’m really not sure this is a good practice.
