Multiple Controllers - possible?

Just wondering out loud really…
I have a wonderful WK Audio ID Console, and have also been given a Contour Shuttle Pro unit as well.
Is it possible (or even recommended if it is possible) to utilize both of these at the same time?
It occurs to me that the shuttle could be used for jogging without having to reset the ID to Jog/Shuttle mode or else it could be used to control stuff that the ID has no buttons for (or where I have run out of user assignable buttons on the ID).

Just curious…the shuttle will be great for WaveLab, Premiere Pro etc regardless so…

Contour shuttle works exclusively with Key Commands, so I don’t see any problem.
