Multiple lyric track management in VL3

Hello All,

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but the new V3 release has generated a few questions. Currently, I manage all my songs in Cubase (currently 14 pro). I add a marker track in Cubase which VL understands as a lyrics track. Is there a way within Cubase to add a second lyrics track for VL to display? I’d like to use Cubase as the master source for my projects.

Try to add another Marker track in Cubase. I cannot check this right now, but probably VL will import both and more.

… oh, that’s a bug. Please re-check this missing feature with the next Pre-Release (3.0.13)

Hi Michael,

Yes, 3.0.13 fixed the import problem so I can now see multiple lyric tracks. This leads to a follow-up question: Is there a way to send different lyrics tracks to multiple iPads running VST Live Mods? If not, please take this as a feature request. It would also be nice to display multiple lyrics tracks on the same screen on my mac but in different colors. This way if multiple singers are looking at the same display, they will be able to easilly pick out their individual part.

Yes, that’s a nice one. MODS users should have the option to select the Track they want to see.
