Multiple MIDI Controller Lanes In Single View

Perhaps this is possible and I’ve missed it, but in Cubase we have multiple MID controller lanes and you can view all used lanes as expected. I saw in a video with Digital Performer (I think it was) whereby multiple MIDI controllers data info was displayed on a single lane. You could click on a parameter and automate that, while its overlaid with another lane’s data. The video is here (around the 10:30 mark):

I find this way of working, tweaking recorded data with all data overlaid on the same view, much more intuitive than multiple lanes. Is this doable in Cubase?
