I don’t understand what you call “not recognized”. I happen to own a Groove Agent license, and although I had quite a hard time making sure everything was properly installed (I had “missing samples”… until I reinstalled the full 32GB package 
), Groove Agent 5 was always available in the VSTi list. I confess I haven’t tried to build up a playback template with it — already done the work for different libraries I own from Superior Drummer 3, so I don’t feel the hurry. And John Barron and others are already making those for GA and GASE so I might as well let the others do the work.
So my question is a genuine one : have you trouble opening GA in Dorico, or is it in a further step of the process, after saving Endpoints, that you have problems with Dorico calling back GA?
Groove Agent SE shows up as a choice but not the trial version of Groove Agent. If I were to purchase the full Groove Agent, would it show up? I don’t know and I don’t think I want to spend the bucks to find out.
