Multiple problems running Cubase 11

Hi,
I recently purchase a cubase 11 update from cubase 9.5 and I noticed several problems
I’m working with an iMac Monterey

  • my session screen turns white when I click somewhere in the project
  • There is no waveforms shown in the events unless I zoom in very close
    -can’t seems to open the safe start dialog
  • no export video and no option to activate it in the Transport menu.

Maybe there is more, but I only come across this so far
I tried to trash preferences but it didn’t work as well
I saw those problems separately occurring throughout forums but never all at once
I’m running out of ideas. Do someone has a lead ?
Should I completely reinstall Cubase ?

Hi,

Just a side note, if you activated your upgrade recently, you should get Cubase 12 Lucerne for free thanks to the Steinberg Grace Period.

I’m also on macOS 12, I haven’t seen this issue. And I haven’t seen any user who would report this here on the forum neither.

Sometimes, there are some issues in this area. In some Zoom value, the waveform disappears at some machines. Unfortunately it’s hard to reproduce it so far.

I haven’t hear about this so far.

Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?

If you have older Cubase installed on the system, please delete the older Cubase preferences folders. Cubase Preferences folders are:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X

Cubase reinstallation might also help.

Make sure, you are starting Cubase under Rosetta 2 and make sure you have the latest Cubase 11.0.41 update installed, please.
