Actually the answer is I pretty much came to 99% close to what Abbey Road sent back to me using Wavelab and my DA-3000 Mastering Recorder. Was it a waste of money? No, and why? Because I never had a reference point by a professional mastering house using a recording made from my environment. Now I do and I know I can do what they did by myself. However it was a hoot knowing that for a hour or so my tune was echoing in the same building that The Beatles used to frequent on a regular basis!!
can you put both versions up so’s we can compare, it sounds good but your version also sounded good…although from what your saying it wasn’t much different.

Kevin, To clarify, my original master sounded different than Abbey Road’s. It was when I went back and re-mastered using the Abbey Road version as a reference…that’s when there wasn’t much of a difference.
