When using musictext in a text frame i find the demisemiquaver (32nd note) is out of alignment. It’s vertically raised compared to all the other note symbols and looks incorrect in text.
As you can see in the screenshot, this miss-alignment is present in the menu too. I assume this is not just a glitch in my personal system? Can anyone confirm that they find the same thing?
If so, what to do about it?!

You’re using the wrong glyph there. Try using metNote32ndUp.
Thanks, that works of course! What does met signify?
Note glyphs specially designed for use in metronome marks.
Ok, I see. Thanks for that Mark. I’ve rarely made use of musictext and my attempts to put 1/32 note, or note 32nd, etc. in the search field didn’t produce anything. I’m not sure how you’re meant to intuit this!
On second thoughts I’ve been a bit slow there…I suppose I could have inferred the methodology from the legend underneath any selected note in the recently used menu.
It would be nice to make the searching in this dialog better, and able to use the glyph descriptions as well as their names. We’ll hopefully be able to improve this in future.
