Must manually scan VST plugins on each Cubase launch on MacOS

Hi, as the title says, since a few days ago, whenever I open Cubase 12 Pro (12.0.60), my VST plugins are not available for me to add to a new track.

I have to manually go to VST Plugin Manager, do a scan, and then they all appear normally.

Anyone seen this before?

p.s. I am on MacOS Ventura 13.3.1.

The first thing I would try is to scrap your preferences. (You can just rename or move the files so you don’t completely loose them.)
You can find them here:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X
Win: %appData%/Steinberg/Cubase X_64
