Hello,
Can muted clips( in this case from an Avid Media Composer exported to an AAF) be included in the AAF import into Nuendo please?
Editors often like to mute clip that are needed for post mixing.
My work around at the moment is to import the AAF in to Resolve , enable al the clips and export AAF out of Resolve 20 Studio then into Nuendo 14.
Many Thanks,
Mike

AA Translator2 includes muted clips when converting AAFs, This will be my work around going forward.
Very useful tool!
Mike
The option for imported (AAF) stereo files to stay as poly files (not separated) would be useful too.
Please.
I tried this with a Premiere project but it did not import into Resolve (not the studio version). Does Resolve Studio have more import options?
Not that I can see, The import options are the same on the free and Studio versions.
Interesting so there IS a difference but the import options are the same.
For clarity: I use the Timeline import option in Resolve as there is no AAF import option. It works well but alas the muted clips are not imported.
You do see them with the same method of importing an AAF?
Thanks
The AAF importing works on both versions here, from the Studio (paid) and free versions. Just did a test “import timeline”. The Muted clips are un-muted then re exported (AAF) from Resolve.
I’m on Resolve 20public beta BTW.
Cheers,
Mike
