Just wondering, since I don’t see and easy way to do this: if I wanted a mutual exclusion clause for pizzicato/anything but pizzicato, would that be possible? Just looking at the VSL SSE Dimension strings, and the mute/pizz problem. I’ve already thought of a possible hazard (i.e. col legno), except that said library doesn’t have col legno samples.
::update:: (working with the VSL factory maps). I noticed that Bowed, in the mx group, switched to standard long-note, which might not be appropriate, so I deleted it and changed the Natural options to Bowed. Haven’t tested yet, to see whether this causes any problems with pizz.
