As I record my acoustic guitar through my UR22, the playback sounds almost electric. I’m recording it over what Steinberg shows “Acoustic Guitar” but I can’t get rid of that electric sound. I’ve messed around with the Studio Channels and the FX Channels but that same echo/electric sound still plays back. Any suggestions?
It sounds like you are recording your guitar with a “VST-effect” activated. If so, just deactivate it and record your guitar clean. Then if you want you can assign any VST-effect after recording.
To deactivate the effect just highlight the guitars audio track and go to the “inserts” section of the inspector. Click in the (what should be) blue button to bypass the insert.
If this is not the case then you need to provide some further info. Also, it is always a good idea to list your system specs when asking for assist.

You are recording using the built in piezo pickup ? If so use a a microphone instead.
