I’ve checked Permission under Security and Privacy and it says Full Disk Access for Dorico. I’ve tried restating Dorico and rebooting the Mac. Same thing! Any ideas?
Grant - which error message(s) do you get?
Where are you trying to save to?
@gfreeman6591 I would start by running Disk Utility, Selecting your drive, and clicking on First Aid. If permissions are out of whack, that should fix them unless you are using a corporate device where security is handled by the IT department.
What happens if you plug in an SSD or USB drive (or iCloud) then point to it in the export path?
iCloud may not be the best option for things that you might be accessing frequently and it is deceiving. As long as there is space, all of the items you have on iCloud also reside on your Mac and eat up valuable disk space. As far as I know, there is no setting to limit that space.
You can perform First Aid from Disk Utility on external drives as well. If you are using an encrypted external drive like IronKey drive, it may be that it is not unlocked when you are trying to save. You might be able to adjust settings after logging into it.
MacOS can usually run Disk Utility on external drives as well so I would start with that and the First Aid function. You might be able to use Get Info to change permissions on any external drives so that you can write to them.
Agreed
I meant it as a simple test.
Repair Disk permissions hasn’t been a thing since El Capitan. In any case, it didn’t affect user files — only the system and other installed components.
Really, we need to know exactly what the error message was, and the location of the export, before we can say anything useful.
okay sir
Thanks for all your responses> AS I was just using my M4 for the first time it was sending it’s audio to the mail. I just had to reset my destination to documents or desktop.
Thanks!
