Hi
Recently, I got the same problem with cubase 8.5.20 on windows 10.
What did you exactly do to fix it?
I can’t dind this file, so I don’t know how to fix it.
Thank you for your help.
Hi
I recently downloaded and upgraded my Cubase artist 8.0 to Cubase 8.5.20.
But the upgrade does not work in Windows 10 pro, with an intel I7 core 4Ghz and my new MSI motherboard with 32 GB ram. Still, my Cubase artist 8 works? Do anyone have the same issue?
I have similar issue, but with only few projects and the window changes layout similar to XP layout. All buttons became unresponsive as well. Anybody else who have encountered this?
Anybody who has experience this? The only way to shut Cubase down is through task manager. The confusing thing it’s only a few projects having this issue and sometimes it works using the bak file sometimes not.
Hi,
I think more specs are needed first. Which OS, Audiointerface, Cubase version? What exactly are you doing when these things happen? Do you have crash files you could upload for analysis?
Without these details any guess would be a blindfolded shot into the dark…
Good input and thanks for the reply. It’s Win 10, 64 bits, Cubase version 8.5.30. UAD Apollo Twin X. Other projetcs works fine, it’s just a few with this behaviour and Cubase doesn’t crash it simply just doesn’t load as the other projects and the win load indicator running until I have to close it down using task manager. Can it be harddrive related? I have a SSD external drive which I load the projects from, but it’s fairly new though. Bought in Jan.2020. Allthough I think SSD can last as low as 5 years I think that’s with 24/7 usage. I tried loading the project from my OS disk as well, but same result.
