If you update to Cubase 8.5 why does MySteinberg not allow you to re-download Cubase 8 full installer?
I lost a backup drive (it died) which had Cubase 8 Pro full installer backed up on it. If it wasn’t for the fact that I burned a DVD I would be screwed here as I can’t get hold of the full installer Cubase 8 Pro (which like everyone else I paid for), only Cubase Pro 8.5
I found the same… So I asked in the forum here and got the download locations, follow the thread below.
But, why don’t they put the links in my account?? I need it because I’m collaborating with others using V8, while I’m working on my own stuff in V8.5, so I need both versions installed. Please consider this Steinberg.
