PROBLEM SOLVED: MAC OS MULTIPLE DISPLAYS ISSUE, NOT CUBASE
How do I reset where the channel settings edit window lays on my monitors screen on my Mac.
I can’t grab it.
I moved it out of the way and it was 1/2 and 1/2 between the two monitors but the top half is not visible now and I can’t grab a hold of it or the bottom half which is visible. See picture.
This actually happened yesterday in C11. Then today I downloaded and started C13 and the problem carried over to it. So is this a need to trash the preferences to fix? And for the next time prevention: what preference needs to be changed to avoid this from repeating in the future?
Hi, you may want to try (while you have the settings window open and focused), going to the Cubase’s menu bar and then Window→Windows…→Choose the “Channel Settings” window (left side) and then click on “Reset Layout”. Maybe this will fix the issue.
PROBLEM SOLVED: MAC OS GRAPICS ISSUE WITH MULTIPLE MONOTORS
PROBLEM SOLVED: I switched the order of the monitors in my mac system Displays prefs, restarted the iMac Pro, booted C13 and hit the E button on the synth bass Retrolog track and the window was now clearly in the lower monitor window 100%.
Went back to system prefs and placed the monitors back in the orig confi, booted C13 and again everything was fine. So it must be a Mac OS glitch with the graphics, not Cubase.
Luckily after trashing the prefs, I actually saved to an empty folder on the desktop so I brought that back into the Apple prefs system window and didn’t lose all my personal setup stuff. Apparantly, C13 installed in demo mode did copy that from C11 . Cool.
