I just upgraded Cubase to 14, but I found that there are no UAD plugins in the VST manager. I have watched a lot of videos, and their vst manager has a vst2 button below, but mine has nothing.
But when I opened Cubase 12 again, everything was fine. Has anyone encountered the same problem?
btw, My computer is Mac Studio and the system is Sequoia 15.3.2
Please help me
Sorry, this is a Chinese version of Cubase
The button below is the plugins report
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Cubase doesn’t support VST2 plug-ins on Mac (with the M processor) in the Native mode. If you want to use VST2 plug-ins, run Cubase in the Rosetta mode.
In addition to what Martin said, ensure that you’ve installed the UAD VST3’s. They should be in “/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Universal Audio.”
You may have deleted them and/or were only using VST2 versions, but you can just reinstall the UAD 11.5.2 11-15-2024 plugins and it will automatically put them there. When you run C14 again it will pick them up.
oh, I see. Thank you very much.
There’s nothing in my VST3 folder, and I don’t know where they went.
I’m going to update my UD plugins now
