I wanted to come back to this to share some updates. Performance seems much better on N14. Even markers are snappier and editing/cutting events, this with large audio files and large file amounts.
However to note since we do work with files over the network early in our Dialogue edit phase etc I did noticed some odd behavior. If I import files from session data that may have some missing links over the network and even when they are cured or cleared from the pool- the project will behave like before. Slow response time, over a second when cutting an event or placing markers. In order to remedy I have to reset Nuendo and reload the project. With large projects it does take some time to reload (so it is a time suck).
so not sure if it’s flushing or if its still holding on to network references until it stars again.
