N6 was working fine on new (3 week old) IMac. Hard drive crashed and was repaired. Now N6 won’t see any 3rd party vst’s. Any advice?
Depending on how your Mac was repaired, you might have to reinstall all your 3rd party plugins. Check your vst plugins folder and see if it contains any .vst files. The address is: MacHD/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST
Whether you see any .vst files or not, the safest solution is to install the plugins again because other files associated with the plugins (situated elsewhere) might be missing.
The easiest way to make sure is to answer this question: Did you reinstall Nuendo after the repair? if the answer is yes, then you definitely should reinstall the plugins as well.
