Since the update to GA 6
WE HAVE LOST THE ABILITY TO NAME INSTRUMENT PADS IN THE ACOUSTIC AGENT.
In previous versions of groove Agent it was possible to Re name the pads in Acoustic Agent kits as you can in beat Agent kits.
Right click on an instrument pad in a Beat Agent kit and there is an option to rename the Pad.
Do the same on an Acoustic Agent kit and there is no option to rename the pad.
it is possible to Rename the Player pads for Acoustic Agent kits by right click and rename option in the menu
but there is no option to Re name for the instrument Pads on Acoustic Agent kits.
This feature has been lost since the update to Groove Agent 6.
same applies to groove Agent 6se.
If there is a way, I am missing, to name the instrument pads on an Acoustic Agent kit in GA6
please let me know.

Renaming the pads on the Kits page of an Acoustic Agent from the factory content should not be possible. And as far as I know, it never was. So, this works by design.

it did work in GA5 , whether by design or not, I would not know as I did not design it, I am only a user.
As can be seen from the screenshot…
If it was not possible, all the remote pads would have no name.
All I know Jan, is that it is not available now since the upgrade to GA6.
I have made presets with named acoustic agent instruments from GA5, i use it mainly for remote pads with rudiments. and now we can add layers to instruments it becomes even more useful for me.
Hence i would like useful features to remain when i upgrade, or at least be informed prior to purchase that features are being removed.
Why should it be not possible when you can use all the blank pads for remote pads with fx and rudiments and then not be able to name them, and they all end up with blank names? Why would it be designed like that?
And now we can layer instruments in the acoustic agent kits ,It would be helpful to name the pads to represent the changes.
It is also useful for me to label the hi hat pads that are controlled by the mod wheel.
