Nanokontrol2 in Cubase 14?

My head is ready to explode. I am trying to integrate my Korg NanaKontrol2 midi controller into Cubase but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to map the sliders to CC11 and CC1 (for example). When I view the device in Midi remote I see it just fine, and a bunch of the dials are already set to Quick Controls, but I just want to set a few sliders to Midi CC11 and CC1 (which are already assigned in the controller itself.

How do assign these slides to midi values?

And how do I change was each Quick Control is doing?

You can’t, or at least not in easy ways using the midi remote. BUT, since

you can actually create another page in the midi remote surface, and not assign anything to it. This way, MIDI CCs 1 and 11 will pass to whichever plugin you want to control.
To create a new page in the midi remote, click on the “Open Mapping Assistant” icon,

and then click on the “Add Mapping Page” icon (a Plus Symbol):

So now if you navigate your controller to this “mapping” page and since there’s no mapping at all, the MIDI CC messages of your controller will be forwarded to your plugins.

Focused Quick Controls are bound to whichever object has the focus. If it’s a track, then you can edit them in the Inspector tab.

If it’s a plugin, you can do this in the upper row of its UI.
