Need help activating Kontakt Player 8 multi outputs (Instrument Tracks)

Hello all!

I have no trouble activating multiple outputs when using Kontakt Player 8 with a Midi Track. F11 to show the VST Rack, click the arrow icon, enable the required Outputs, and they appear in the Cubase Mixer as expected (please see Screenshot 1).

How do I do this when using Kontakt Player 8 with an Instrument Track (not a Midi Track)?

I cannot find where the dropdown option to activate Kontakt Player’s multi outputs is located in Cubase for Instrument Tracks (ie. the equivalent of F11 for Instrument Tracks).

I cannot get more than the default “Kontakt 8 01” to show up in the Cubase Mixer, no matter how many Outputs I set up inside Kontakt Player. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

What Cubase version do you use, please? From the screenshot, it looks even older than Cubase 7. These very old versions don’t have the Instrument Track Multi-out feature.

Oh dear…yes, it’s Cubase 5….almost as old as Noah’s ark - but I’ve used it for over 20 years (literally 5 days a week) and love how well it works for me. Never needed to upgrade.

Laughable - but true

I just assumed that because Kontakt Player 8 works flawlessly I was missing something.

Thanks for replying.

A bit off-topic, but look how uncluttered that inspector looks! How straightforward… Ah!, good old times! C5.5 was a good version, really was…

Couldn’t agree more! And I can work very fast on this old, familiar version :slightly_smiling_face: .

I will just continue using the VST Rack (F11) for multi outputs - which works perfectly. Thank you Martin for clarifying.
