Need help reactivating Cubase AI 11 (old computer lost)

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble reactivating my Cubase AI 11 license after moving to a new computer.
The old computer is no longer available, and I can’t find the “eLC Installation Helper” or the reactivation option in MySteinberg anymore.

I’ve already installed the latest eLicenser Control Center, but it only shows an empty Soft-eLicenser with no license inside.

Could someone from Steinberg please guide me on how to reactivate Cubase AI 11 on a new computer?

Welcome to the Forum.

Unfortunately there is no way of reactivating a Soft eLicenser anymore. The eLicenser system has been shutdown in May 2025, but you can ask for an update to Cubase AI 14 by adding a request to the thread I have linked here.

Cubase AI 11 to Cubase AI 14 update

Hi! Nice to meet all of you. I would like to ask question how to update Cubase AI 11 to Cubase AI 12. I have got registered Cubase AI 11 (bought it with steinberg ur22 mkii) - it works well. But for Cubase AI 12 I need new activation code. In download assistant list in “my products” I can see only Cubase AI 11. How and when can I receive activation code for Cubase AI 12?
