Need help setting up GASE with Noteperformer

Hey all, I have a large project that is already in the works. I have all my instruments set to noteperformer. However, I would like the kit (drumset) part to be played ny Groove Agent. Is there a way to add GASE somewhere? I tried to do thsi or look for the add synth in the track inspector (Play section), and didn’t see anything there. I also looked under setup and missed it there too.

Thoughts?

Does this mean one can not use this set up if the project is already set up with note performer first? I would think there is a work around other than having to start a new project?

In Play mode, left panel, you might see Track Inspector | VST and MIDI. Select VST and MIDI, you will then see the different VSTis living in your project. I suspect there’s nothing but several instances of NotePerformer. Press the + button below the last VST Instrument (that would be right above MIDI Instruments list), then select Steinberg>Drums>GASE.
Now, press Track Inspector, you’re going to route your drums to GASE. Select your drum kit and see how NotePerformer shows in the Track inspector. Change that to GASE channel 1 (that should be just fine). Then press on the cog next to GASE instrument, it will open an editor, that’s where you see your drum kit on line 1, double click the fifth column (percussion maps) and choose Groove Agent SE Studio Kit. You should be set!
