Hi, I am using an older iMac machine with Mac OS Sonoma (Open Core Legacy Patcher) I am not able to activate my Nuendo since the Steinberg Activation Manager Simply won’t work properly. The app opens up with a grey background. There is no boxes or anything to enter login details. This is absurd. Now my work is stalled. Anybody knows any workaround?
I think downloading a previous version of Activation should fix the issue. But there is no provision to access it as it is not available in the website.
Hi, I had tried this way by uninstalling the existing SDA and SAM first. Then installing the 1.36.4 version as per your screenshot. But ended up with same issue. I am able to download the products from SDA. But when I open Nuendo the SAM app launches but nothing happens after that. There is just grey background. I have attached screenshot for further clarity.
Hi, It does open up with a dialogue saying updating SAM. Around 59 mb in size. And it gets updated successfully. But when I launch the DAW, Nuendo in my case the SAM launches and nothing else happens. There is no provision to enter login details.
I guess the issue is with the new version of SAM. If anyway I can get an older installer I could try a manual install and see if the issue persists, But unfortunately there is no way I can find an installer in steinberg’s website. Sad part is now my work is stalled and it’s been 16 hours I had raised a ticket with Steinberg. No one had contacted from Steinberg’s end. Steinberg support is so depressing.
