I’m in 6/8 - the first Rhythm Slash is the proper Quarter Note with a dot, but the SECOND half of the bar is an 8th Note tied to a Quarter note.
How do I get BOTH Slashes to be a Dotted Quarter?!

It seems there IS a hidden 3/4, but how do I get rid of it???
You might need to use Force Duration to make the second one a dotted crotchet. I’m not sure why it isn’t already, sorry.
Can you share the project, or a bit more information – are you using slash voices, or slash regions? If slash voices, does the suspect bar have Force Duration set on the tied note?
I’m not sure what settings you are using, but it works fine on my system either with my settings or factory settings when using both Slash Regions (the green one below) and Slash Voices (without Force Duration):
In 3/4, I will get the rhythm you are describing when using a Slash Voice, as generally you want to show 2 strong beats in 3/4 if possible.
Are you sure there isn’t a hidden 3/4 or independent time sig being used? Can you post a file exhibiting this behavior?
Thank you - It seems there WAS a hidden 3/4. I just deleted it in the Time Signature box and re-entered 6/8. Voila! It all shows perfect now.
