Nektar CS12, Cubase 14 pro and issues with mapping

Hi,

Got my Nektar CS12 last week, and it’s great, apart from one thing.
I can’t get the mapping of plugins to work reliably.

1: Nektarine has this yellow connection buttin in the top right. It used to be able to click on it and cycle from Nektarine control of the CS12, and the (open)Cubase control. Now it does nothing, except it let’s me take control through Nektarine if it is opened after Cubase. Ie, I can control CS12 from Nektarine, but I can’t hand control back to Cubase, have to shut Nektarine down.

2: Mappings done in Nektarine often don’t show up at all in Cubase. Seams very random, although once I find a plugin with this behaviour, it never works(it doesn’t randomly work)
It all seams a bit hit or miss. I can’t figure out where the mapping files go, where does Cubase read them from? On my computer there is two locations, one in the documents folder as stated in the nektarine manual, and another in the appdata/roaming folder. This is a huge one by the way.
I have tried to stop the ControlCore and restart it, no difference.
I’m OK to program the assignments on the unit itself, fairly easy, but I need to edit the page structure for multiband plugins where I need several layers of pages. As far as I know, not possible from the unit itself.

Also, I would like to edit the names of the assignments to avoid superlong and thus automatically cut and rendered unintelligable. Besides, nice to be able to change a L threshold to simply Threshold when I anyway all the time use a compressor in linked mode.

Hope someone has been able to solve these issues, thanks for any pointers!
