this post is a bit specific, as you can guess…
I’m very curious to hear how users of these specific plugin (but all vst guitar amp in general) manage them…
In particular I would be curious about levels setting; track input ( rec level), plugin levels (in and out).
Personally, as I prefer to keep recording clean - so to be free to edit/change presets even after recording - I put plugin on one insert of the track to be recorded and I first of all try to reach a -12db input peak but I’m not sure this is the best way to do it because some presets are really very powerful and I don’t know well where to act to set a correct level before exporting the wet track…
