Is this mostly driven by constraints of a small laptop display perhaps.? Anyway, in the meantime you can of course squash the fader section down as small as poss, to gain a bit more space above for your inserts/sends etc… But I guess you do that already. 
The funny thing is while you do not want to include the fader you want to include the fader option. The option to turn it off.
The title of your topic suggests that you would like to stay everything as it currently is.
