New annoying behaviour

I have a longstanding practice file that I use for keyboard practice. Five instrument tracks, twelve or so MIDI tracks. First track is my default piano, and the file is saved with it selected. Just recently, shortly after opening, the selected track jumps consistently to track 8, which is one of the MIDI tracks.

It is hardly the end of the world, but it is damned annoying to have to manually reset this every time.

Is there any Remote Device involved in your setup? MIDI Remote, Mackie Control, Generic Remote Device, StreamDeck, or something else, by any chance?

No. It is something that has crept in over the last week or two, and I haven’t added or changed anything in that time.

Hm, I just tried opening it to verify something, and the jumping didn’t happen. I’ll keep an eye on it.
