New channels automatically set with +7 pre gain

Hi all
Initially I noted all the recordings were super hot. Then I realised when I create new instrument and audio track and all the new tracks created after rendering are automatically set at +7 pre gain. This is quite annoying because any recording I do get recorded with distortion

How would I get rid of this problem please

add new channel or shortcuts. I dont change any settings but only gives names
