I have been using Cubase 5 on an Xp 32 bit computer. I am intending to buy a Windows 7, 64 bit computer and then upgrade to Cubase 6. Would I need to load Cubase 5 first in my new computer and then upgrade to Cubase 6 or just Load a clean version of Cubase 6, 64 bit?
No need to have C5 installed first.
It is your licence that you upgrade. Then you can install brand new C6 from scratch on the new computer.
