New Cubase 11 AI installation (win 10) can't find my Alesis IO2 audio input/output

Hi just installed Cubase 11 AI and a few things - it doesn’t seem to recognise my Alesis IO2 as a audio i/o device. It recognise the IO2 midi ports they are working fine. My PC (win 10) is set to the IO2 as it’s audio i/o so I assumed Cubase would just pick it up - it will only recognise the default generic realtek driver on the motherboard.

Any suggestions?

Check this topic.

But in short, you need to install asio4all or use the steinberg low latency asio driver and select the io2 in the asio driver control panel.

Also make sure your sample rate for the io2 in windows is the same as your cubase project.
