New Cubase, just cross graded to Nuendo...Anything I can do?

Hi, I was a Cubase 12 user for a long time, then paid to upgrade to C13, but it was awful for CPU spikes, so I didnt even use it. Less than a month ago I cross graded to Nuendo, and now they bring out Cubase 14 and people are saying its running much better

Will they bring out Nuendo 14 very soon? And if so, it feels a bit frustrating to have paid for a cross grade, and literally weeks later there is a new version. Do they ever let you have the newer version if you recently got the older one, even in a cross grade?

Thanks, tired of spending money on these upgrades, especially when things often don’t work like C13!

Hi,

No one is allowed to say the release date before the official release.

You get the latest version of the new product (i.e. the one you updated/upgraded/crossgraded to), thanks to the Grace Period policy.

But only if it’s released within a month of me cross grading? It’s annoying, I didn’t realise you could buy it but not activate it, then I could have just used the demo for 60 days. It would be nice if these things were made clearer

Timo said in another thread that Nuendo 14 is expected beginning of 2025.
