When adding another flow and writing the flow title on the first page, do you create a new template?
Or do you add a text frame to the score and enter the title there?
I entered the title in a text frame on the score without using a template, and now its position is shifting due to edits in the preceding flow. How can I anchor the title frame to the first page of Flow 2 so that it is not affected by edits in the previous flow?
You have project title and flow titles. If you want the flow title visible you do that in the lay-out options. You can change the flow Title in project info Ctrl I or Mac Cmd I.
Sorry, I donât know if I understand your question. Please make an reply and donât edit your original question, so it is more easy to understand your additional question.
I think it is not an good idea to add an text frame. I only see default titles so what you want is not clear to me. If you want to start the new flow right after the previous flow on the same page you can make that setting in lay-out options. If you want that the new flow starts on a new page with also the project title (first page layout) you also can make that setting in lay-out options.
@k.k sorry I also donât understand the question. We really want to help. To be honest my wild guess is that you come from Finale and are trying to do something in a non Dorico way. Maybe an idea to share the file you are working on and try again to explain what you want.
The flow title in the blue highlighted area is set to âhide.â How can I fix this?
I need to place the orange text below the title, and it should move together with Flow 2. However, when I insert a regular text frame, it stays fixed on the page and doesnât move with the flow. How can I resolve this
