New free Spectral Synthesizer X-Stream available

I have not discovered the filename:
Init X-stream
in the list.
Just like by FLUX, so if you see a name in the list that begins with:
“Init”

Like in this picture all files that carry the name Init and the name of the instrument, are start files.

so “init x-stream” does not exist in the media bay.

First congrats Steinberg for releasing this. I love it! After years this has brought me back to HALion.

I do have a question. I like what the reverb and chorus does. Is there also an FX version with those effects that can be used seperate from HALion?

“Init X-Stream” is a Layer preset, one has to set the preset type to “Layer” or “All Presets” (see below)

I use logic pro and this plugin downloaded fine but I can’t load any samples. When I try to load a sample it has a grayed out circle with a line through it. Not sure what’s going on.

Anyone know if you can import your own sample and bypass all effects to hear it in it’s original state - before adding effects etc?

Thought there might be an quick bypass button for this…

Wow No Solutions :disappointed: :disappointed: :disappointed:

Hi JimK,

sorry for the late reply. Load the Init preset and turn Blur Time and Blur Depth to minimum. With Speed 100 % you will hear the sample almost unchanged, but still played through the Spectral engine. To hear its original state without anything on, I recommend to use the preview function in the MediaBay browser before dropping it in.

All the best,

Florian

Thanks for your reply - sorry I do not know what you mean ‘Load the Init preset’ (for X-treme?)

Please explain…

JimK

If you do not see the Init preset in the MediaBay, click on the filter in the MediaBay and select “All presets” then you should see the “Init Preset”. Hope this helps.
