Hi really quick and simple. Gor a new pc and reinstalling.
Steinberg download installer allows packages one by one however I need to reinstall multiple: Cubase , wavelab, Nuendo and other conponents. How do I install all at once, I can’t seem to install mutliple products only one at a time. Ehich is very time consuming. NI, Acustica Audio, Waves etc
What In I missing please. Tried shift, alt, cntel and select cant fathom it out.
From memory here, so I could be wrong - I think you are explicitly prevented from doing doing this. The “my products” application-level installation typically has a multitude of sub-components. You can Install All for the top-level, or select what you want to install. While installing (again, from memory and I can’t effectively test on this system) the “installation selection” you made needs to complete. While I personally wouldn’t classify this function as the same as “all plugins from a vendor,” that immaterial.
I’m not a developer, but I play one on TV, and I think the reason for this is to prevent cross-application installation dependancies from interfering with each other, particularly in the case where a top-level application collection (N14) included multiple (both shared and standalone) components that could also try to install at the same time.
Now I have to try to see if something has changed in an updated SDA.
EDIT 04/12/25 01:10pm UTC - Verified with the “Bouncy Vibrations” vstsounds download. My system downloaded before I could grab a screen shot, but there was a notification indicating that the current selection had to complete first.
