"New Instrument Filter from Selection"--Looking to shortcut

Hey all,

In D6, Galley View, working on refining some of my hotkeys/MIDI switches and I’ve had no problem programming hotkeys to toggle the Instrument Filter Overlay on/off. Within that overlay, as you know, is the option to take a set of highlighted instruments and create a filter for them on the spot, but unless I’m mistaken, one has to use the mouse for this step. It’s a plus-sign that’s labelled “New Instrument Filter from Selection” when you hover your mouse over it. THAT’s the function I’d like to hotkey/MIDI control.

Anybody know of a creative way to map this function, or am I SOL for now?

Yeah, it’s weird but it has an entirely different name in the key commands editor. I had to find this before in order to set up a macro so that I can toggle the filter to show all instruments with data on them. Anyway, what you want is “Create Preset from Selection” -

If the team is reading, it would be nice if the lingo was consistent
