Hi,
I’m probably doing something stupid but I have downloaded a free Kontakt vibraphone from Splash Sound and put it in my Documents folder, which is the same folder as my NI Komplete folder. I couldn’t get cubase to see it there to load it into kontakt. So I put it in the NI Content folder with all the NI instruments and it still can’t see it. What am I doing wrong? I’ve restarted cubase a couple of times.

Have you run Kontakt in stand alone mode and scanned for instruments? If its there in stand alone mode it will be there in your DAW. Its important you always run a new instrument in stand alone mode first. Hope that helps.
