I’m in the process of upgrading my system from Win 7 on a VAIO to Win 10 on a Lenovo. I had Cubase Artist 9 or Artist 9:5 and Groove Agent SE 4 on the VAIO. Now I have loaded Artist 9 on my new laptop but can’t load Grove Agent SE 4. I think this may have something to do with Artist 9.5.
Here’s my question. Can I upgrade Artist 9 to Artist 9.5 on my Lenovo for free? And if I do then, can I load Groove Agent SE 4. I did like SE 4.
The first thing to do is install the most current eLCC version (if you have not already). Launch it and let it run maintenance. What license is shown?
It seems as if you are not sure which version you actually have. No need to think about updating to 9.5 if you already own it. Not that you would likely be able to purchase a 9 → 9.5 update at this time anyway …
Also, make sure you install from the “full” installation on a fresh system.
