I have read that there is a new Mediabay that gets downloaded automatically when certain software is downloaded eg. Absolute 6. I believe this unifies Mediabay information whereas previously One Man and His Songs has shown entering Mediabay ratings etc via say groove agent may not show up when accessing via other programs. I do not want to lose ratings etc by the upgrade of Mediabay. Saying that maybe this has already happened when I upgraded to Cubase 13 Pro! There is also talk by people on forums of the Mediabay upgrade losing thousands of presets. Can anyone advise. I was thinking of getting Absolute 6 with the current offer but this threat is holding me up. I would like to know when and how the new Mediabay gets implemented, how I know if it has been implemented and what can be done to mitigate problems. Many thanks. Simon. I’ve even completely wiped all my MediaBay settings several times and let the whole thing rebuild itself, I have never lost any of my information.
