Hi guys, planning on setting up a new Win7 pc with SSL MX4 and Cubase 6.
Currently working on a WinXP/Mixpander setup. Wondering if getting a hexacore SandyBridge-E i7 (3930K) is worth the extra cash compared to a “regular” quadcore Ivy Bridge i7 (3770K)? Are there any chipsets recommended for audio production? Any recommandations concerning mainboards? (Asus P8Z77-V Premium is an option I guess) Thanks for any input!
