New PC/Win11, ASIO deactivates if window is minimzed?

Hi,

I have a new PC with Windows 11 and Cubase 15. I’m using an RME Fireface UCX II with the ASIO driver.

When I load a MIDI instrument, it works fine. However, if I minimize Cubase and then maximize it again, I can’t hear any sound, even though the ASIO settings are correct.

If I use “Deactivate in Background” (which I don’t want to do—I’ve always used Cubase 12 on my old PC this way), then minimize and maximize, the sound returns.

It seems like a bug. How can I fix this? I don’t want to use this workaround every time I open Cubase 15.
